The St. Mary’s baseball team scored five runs in the top of the ninth inning to earn a second straight 11-10 victory against UTPB in Lone Star Conference play Saturday at Roden Field.
The Falcons (12-29 overall, 11-29 conference) had won the first two games of the series in their final at bat and fell just short of a third straight comeback win in Game 2 of Friday’s doubleheader.
