The Odessa College baseball team swept Colby Community College in a doubleheader Friday at Wrangler Ballpark.
The Wranglers (6-9) won by scores of 8-1 in the first game and 12-6 in the second.
In Game 1, the Wranglers took the lead in the bottom of the third with two runs and added one in the fourth before scoring five more in the sixth.
Odessa College finished with nine hits and no errors while the Trojans (1-9) had five hits and no errors.
Leeroy Tavarez was the winning pitcher for the Wranglers while Zach Gregory took the loss on the mound.
In Game 2, the Wranglers erased a two-run deficit by scoring three in the bottom of the fourth.
Odessa College added two more runs in the fifth, five in the sixth and two in the seventh.
Juan Villarreal was the winning pitcher for the Wranglers while Jack Schroeder took the loss for Colby Community College.
Both teams will meet again for another doubleheader, starting at noon Saturday at Wrangler Ballpark.
