“The Peacemakers,” by Felice House and Dana Younger is a new exhibit featuring large-scale paintings and sculpture on display through Dec. 9 at the Phillips Goff Gallery at Odessa College.
Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
There will be an artist talk at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the Globe of the Great Southwest on the OC campus.
The exhibit presents “The West” through a post-modern lens that challenges and honors this most American of genres.
Through painting and sculpture, artists House and Younger are asking the audience to reevaluate the archetypes, mythology and values of “The West” while reveling in its rich visual language.
