West Texans enjoyed a bit of rain Tuesday afternoon as a thunderstorm passed through the region leaving roads a little bit more than wet. According to the National Weather Service, a flash flood warning will remain in effect until Wednesday morning for portions of West Texas along and south of the Pecos River as heavy rain passes through the region. The NWS warns of localized flooding in areas affected by heavy rain and advises motorists to avoid said areas.
