Pool season is now open and families across Odessa can now enjoy the city’s aquatic centers throughout the summer from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. daily. General admission costs $4 for adults, $2.50 for children and children under 1 or seniors over the age of 62 are allowed free admission. Each pool will be closed one day of the week for cleaning and maintenance; the Sherwood Family Aquatic Center will be closed Tuesdays, the Woodson Family Aquatic Center will be closed Thursdays and the Floyd Gwin Family Aquatic Center will be closed Wednesdays. The spraygrounds at McKinney Park and Jurassic Jungle will operate daily and are free to the public.
