Meals on Wheels of Odessa recently partnered with H-E-B to provide a special holiday meal to homebound seniors and disabled clients.
Meals on Wheels of Odessa serves a nutritious meal every week day to almost 600 residents of Ector County who are either homebound or disabled. Each client also receives a loaf of bread each week thanks to a long standing partnership with H-E-B.
Craig Stoker, the executive director of Meals on Wheels of Odessa, thanked H-E-B for their partnership in a press release.
“H-E-B always goes above and beyond in their efforts to alleviate hunger in our community and I know our clients appreciate this special meal as the holiday season approaches.”
The 20th annual H-E-B Feast of Sharing is slated for Friday, Dec. 9 from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. at Ector County Coliseum.
