The Odessa Police Department is investigating a shooting aim the area of Ada Street and Hickory Avenue.
It occurred about 4:20 p.m. At this time, a news release said, there are no reported injuries.
There was a large police presence outside Ector College Prep, but no details about why. A police sergeant said it was reported at Ector, but it didn’t occur there.
The investigation is continuing.
