Cadets in the 24th session of the Odessa Police Academy spent Tuesday afternoon practicing traffic directing as part of their curriculum at the intersection of 3rd Street and Grant Avenue. Cadets learn how to properly conduct traffic through intersections, prioritize the passage of emergency vehicles and ensuring the safety of pedestrians through their training.
