Odessa College instructors held an Industrial Rope Rescue course exercise on their Fire/EMS Technology Training Rappel Tower Tuesday afternoon. The Industrial Rope Rescue course is a 5-day, 50 hour class that teaches various techniques used for rappelling and live saving rescue on vertical surfaces. Students of this particular course range from fire departments, rescue/safety services and oil companies that deal with vertical work environments.
