Hispanic Heritage of Odessa named Tony Gonzalez as thier Pioneer Family of the Year honoree during a ceremony Wednesday afternoon at the Ector County Public Library. Gonzalez moved to Odessa from Sweetwater with his wife and children in 1956 and pursued several business ventures across Odessa. Tony was also involved in the Hispanic community throughout the years and also was involved with the Lions Club and was an ordained deacon.
