Girl Scouts of the Southwest has announced the 30th Annual Women of Distinction Celebration to be held from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Petroleum Club of Midland Aug. 13.
This year’s honorees are Cathy Eastham of Cathy Eastham Fine Jewelry, Kathleen Kirwan Haynie of Senior Life Midland, Elaine Magruder of I-20 Wildlife Preserve and Judy Rankin, LPGA Hall of Fame golfer and broadcaster.
The event honors outstanding women in the Permian Basin who serve as role models by demonstrating leadership. Each one of them made a profound difference in their communities and created lasting change for tomorrow.
