A West Odessa man was arrested Friday morning after his girlfriend accused him of stabbing her.
According to an Ector County Sheriff’s Office report, dispatchers received calls from residents on North Northstar who said a man was going onto properties stating the police were after him.
When deputies arrived on scene, they learned a 35-year-old woman had been taken to Medical Center Hospital after being stabbed, the report stated. When they spoke with her, she said Zakari Villasenor, 31, had stabbed her.
Deputies found Villasenor on Big Dipper and he admitted to stabbing his girlfriend with a kitchen knife inside their RV, the report stated.
Villasenor was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury/family violence. He was booked into the Ector County jail with a $125,000 surety bond.
