A 33-year-old woman was killed early Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle collision on the South Interstate 20 service road.
According to the City of Odessa, Gloria Gutierrez was driving east on the service road in a Ford Expedition when she crossed into the westbound lanes and struck a Chevrolet Silverado shortly after 5 a.m.
Gutierrez was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Chevy was taken to Medical Center Hospital with serious injuries.
An investigation is underway.
