A 33-year-old West Odessa man was arrested early Monday morning after his roommate accused him of attacking him with a beer bottle and his fists.
According to an Ector County Sheriff’s Office report, deputies were dispatched to a disturbance call in the 5300 block of North Knox shortly after 1 a.m. Monday.
When deputies arrived, they found a 35-year-old man with a bloody and swollen face and he told them his roommate hit him with a glass Modelo bottle and then proceeded to punch him in the face, the report stated.
Yarin Sauceda Matute was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He remains in the Ector County jail on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold and a $25,000 surety bond.
