TxDOT traffic alerts for week of April 11, 2022

The Texas Department of Transportation issued traffic alerts for week of April 11, 2022.

>> MIDLAND COUNTY: On Tuesday (4-12), watch for slow-moving construction vehicles in the right-hand eastbound main lane of I-20 near Midkiff overpass project. Crews will use a rolling (temporary) lane closure in that lane as they make emergency repairs to concrete barrier. Otherwise, work on service roads continues week of April 11. #BeSafeDriveSmart #EndTheStreakTX

>> WINKLER COUNTY: Week of April 11, crews will be placing concrete on the SH 302 bridge deck and removing concrete barrier along the new frontage roads at the overpass project at SH 115. Detour layouts will vary during the week as these operations progress. Drive with caution and watch for flaggers & changing warning signs in this construction work zone. Slow down and obey signs/flaggers. #BeSafeDriveSmart #EndTheStreakTX

>> MIDLAND COUNTY: DPS has requested short, intermittent closures starting at 11 a.m. Monday (4-11) on SH 349 at CR 120 to investigate a crash. Plans are to use a drone, so closures will be short, but they may need to stop traffic several times. This was delayed from April 1. #BeSafeDriveSmart #EndTheStreakTX

>> MIDLAND COUNTY: Lane closures will channel Garfield down to one lane between BI-20 and Wall Street. Please find alternate routes, if possible, for the next several weeks. Slow down and obey signs/flaggers. #BeSafeDriveSmart #EndTheStreakTX
