The Texas Department of Transportation has stated that it will resume its mill and inlay project on Big Spring Street on Aug. 5.
TxDOT will start at Big Spring and Wadley Avenue and move south.
In a news release, the city noted that this Texas Department of Transportation project is in TxDOT right of way, so the city does not approve or manage the traffic control plan. Lamesa Road will be the best route for north-south traffic during the time of TxDOT’s mill and inlay work.
