Odessans have the opportunity to gain an insider’s view of Odessa Fire Rescue by participating in the 2018 Citizens Fire Academy.
The academy is a hands-on opportunity for citizens to become familiar with firefighting apparatus, learn about emergency medical services, vehicle extrication, fire prevention, hazardous materials, technical rescue, fire investigations, as well as receive fire extinguisher and CPR training.
The 10-week program begins March 6 and will take place between 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. every Tuesday.
