The City of Odessa announced the contractor is scheduled to start construction of the traffic signal this week at the intersection of Faudree Road and P Bar Ranch Road.
Work will begin with the installation of the underground work and signal pole foundations.
Motorists are asked to slow down when driving in work zones. Motorists are also reminded that state law requires them to obey any warning signs, flaggers and pilot cars encountered in the work zone.
