Teenager charged in disturbance 

The Odessa Police Department responded to a disturbance call involving several subjects at approximately 1:30 p.m. Aug. 5 in the 1600 block of East 52nd Street.

While responding, Dispatch advised that multiple shots had been fired. Investigation revealed that 18-year-old Adrian Gonzalez had fired multiple shots into the air and was found to be in possession of a semi-automatic handgun and 10 grams of THC cartridges, a news release said.

Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Gonzalez was charged and arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2>=4G<400G “Felony 2”, Unlawful Carrying a of Weapon “Misdemeanor A”, and Discharge a Firearm in Certain Municipalities “Misdemeanor A”. Gonzalez was transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center. There were no reports of any injuries, the release said.
