The Flecha Azul Tacos & Tequila Festival is for Saturday, a press release stated.
The festival will last from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will be located on Grant Avenue from Fourth Street to Sixth Street. The festival entrance is at the intersection of Fifth Street and Texas Avenue. Attendees are welcome to park in the parking garage attached to the Marriott Conference Center.
This event is open to all ages but must be 21 to consume alcohol. Children ages 12 and under are free.
Community members are invited to buy a general admission ticket for $30 or an exclusive VIP ticket for $70 to enjoy some tacos, tequila, margaritas and cerveza, the press release detailed.
There will be music performances by The Damn Torpedoes, a tribute to Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. The festival will have food trucks such as Ed & Toms, Marty G’s Cajun, El Colega, Snow King, Tkilaz’s, El Vaquero Tacos y Montadas and Lalos Tacos.
A taco and jalapeño eating contest will be held at the festival and west texas vendors will be in attendance for some local shopping.
