SouthWest Bank has announced new appointments to the board of directors. Micah Foster has accepted an appointment to SouthWest Bank’s board of directors as an advisory board member, and Melanie Hollmann accepted the position of full board member earlier this year.
“Individually, Melanie and Micah bring a high level of knowledge and experience to their new roles. The SouthWest Bank board of directors is fortunate to be able to rely on their trusted and expert advice as they help implement our priorities in the future,” said Paul Weaver, SouthWest Bank CEO, in a news release.
Local to Odessa, Hollmann is a shareholder of Atkins, Hollmann, Jones, Peacock, Lewis & Lyon. Her law practice focuses primarily on corporate matters including corporate transactions, the formation and maintenance of entities, as well as estate planning. She received her bachelor’s degree and her J.D. degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. Hollmann currently serves with the Odessa Development Corporation and the West Texas Food Bank and was named St. Joseph’s Home Health’s Woman of Distinction in 2022.
Foster has over 20 years of experience working in financial roles for publicly traded companies in both the upstream oil and natural gas industry as well as the oilfield services industry. Foster currently serves as the chief financial officer for VoltaGrid. Before embarking on his current role, Foster served as the chief financial officer of Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. Foster graduated from Abilene Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. Foster has previously served on the boards of local charitable organizations including HighSky Children’s Ranch and the HighSky Foundation.
