Next week, the largest fundraiser for the Ellen Noël Art Museum returns as the 37th annual Shrimpfest will take place.
The event is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Monday for general admission at the Ector County Coliseum Barn G.
Tickets can be purchased online at tinyurl.com/mrudyxex.
Patrons and shrimp lovers will be welcomed to all-you-can-eat cajun shrimp.
General admission is $50 and there are still plenty of sponsorship tables.
The Shrimpfest recipe is based on one used by Pascal’s Manale Restaurant in New Orleans.
About 1,200 pounds of shrimp are expected to be cooked and served.
