Museum of the Southwest, 1705 W. Missouri Ave., Midland, has scheduled its 52nd annual SeptemberFest Art festival Friday and Saturday.
The SeptemberFest Preview Party, “Under the Desert Sky,” will take place from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday.
The daytime festival will continue from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.
There will be shop artist booths, demonstrations, food and drinks, Austin Bike Zoo special attractions, live mural painting by Mari Pohlman and more.
This year, KinderFest programs will focus on their mission to immerse young visitors in experiences that inspire curiosity and interaction with art and science, while also providing a fun environment. A portion of KinderFest activities will be tailored to provide a glimpse of the new Children’s Museum, expected to reopen in the first quarter of 2022.
