A 46-year-old San Antonio man was killed in a two-vehicle wreck Tuesday eight miles north of Stanton.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Luis Gerardo Rios was traveling in a Ford F-150 when he made an unsafe U-turn from the east shoulder of SH 137 and was struck by a Kenworth truck and trailer being driven by a 48-year-old Midland man.
Rios, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was uninjured.
