ENERGY & COMMERCE FIELD HEARING

U.S. Rep. August Pfluger is hosting a U.S. House of Representatives Energy & Commerce Field Hearing on “American Energy Expansion and Communities’ Way of Life.”

The free public event is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. today at the Bush Convention Center, 105 N. Main St., in Midland.

COMBAT HUNGER EVENT

Oxy and West Texas Food Bank partner up to combat hunger and access to farm fresh produce.

The event is scheduled at 1 p.m. today at Crockett Middle School, 1801 Missouri Street, Pecos.

Oxy Community Relations Shelly Williams, Oxy volunteers, West Texas Food Bank representatives, CMS Administration, and Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD Administration will be in attendance.

This event will be the unveiling of the mobile food pantry partnership with Oxy and West Texas Food Bank. Students will also be given free lunch kits donated by Oxy.
