WASHINGTON, D.C. Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) released the following statement July 22 after President Joe Biden announced he would be dropping out from the 2024 presidential election:
“For the last several years Democrats have perpetrated a fraud against the American people. We were called liars and exaggerators and accused of producing “cheap fakes” when we questioned the mental fitness of the Commander-in-Chief. We have been vindicated. Complicit in this fraud are Congressional Democrats and party leaders who are now discarding the 14 million votes in this year’s Democratic primaries. If President Biden is not fit to run for President, he cannot be President. He should resign immediately, if he does not, every Democrat must call for his resignation. Vice President Harris owns all of the Biden-Harris policy failures and she now must be asked, ‘What did she know and when did she know it?’”
