WASHINGTON, D.C. Congressman August Pfluger released the following statement after sitting in the Presidential box at the Republican National Convention with President Donald J. Trump before the President’s speech accepting the Republican Party’s nomination.

“It was an incredible honor to stand with President Trump in his box at the Republican National Convention just six days after the assassination attempt that nearly ended his life. President Trump later delivered a powerful address to the Nation and pledged to unleash energy dominance and secure the border on day one. This is the leadership we need. Onward to victory!” Pfluger said in a news release.
