WASHINGTON On Monday, Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) announced his appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) Board of Visitors, which provides independent advice and recommendations on matters relating to the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Pfluger said in the press release: “As a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, who has since spent twenty-three years in uniform, I have first-hand experience with the critical function the Academy plays in graduating mission-ready leaders — Airmen and Guardians alike. Our Nation faces complex threats from China, Russia, and other adversaries, and graduates of the Academy are vital to supporting American national security. Through my position on the Board of Visitors, I look forward to championing the Academy and providing critical oversight to ensure our curriculum is focused on training men and women of character who will continue to make the United States Air Force and United States Space Force the best in the world.”
