The Odessa Police Department is investigating the death of a 70-year-old woman who was killed while walking across West County Road Monday night.
According to an OPD news release, Eva Saenz was struck in the 2300 block of West County Road by a Dodge truck that was traveling north shortly before 9 p.m.
Saenz was taken to Medical Center Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
