The Parent Empowerment Coalition invites everyone to its Parent Empowerment Night in Odessa from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at First Odessa Christian Academy, 709 N. Lee Ave., with special guest Gov. Greg Abbott.
Hosted by First Odessa Christian Academy, the Parent Empowerment Coalition will be highlighting OCA and discussing the growing need and desire for parent empowerment. Parent empowerment is built on the foundational principles of transparency, quality, respect, and choice, and we’re bringing together the community to focus on this vital need in the education system, a news release said.
Abbott has made education one of his top priorities this year, the release said.
