OPD seizes drugs, make arrest

Odessa police seized a large amount of cocaine, methamphetamine, THC and psychedelic mushrooms from a home on East 37th Street Tuesday and made a felony arrest.

According to an Odessa Police Department report, officers serving a search warrant at the home around 7 p.m. Tuesday found 118 grams of cocaine, 25 grams of meth, 12 grams of THC that was contained in six electronic vapes, and 17 ounces of marijuana. They also found 6.7 grams of Ecstasy, 32 grams of psilocybin, ziplock bags, scales and cash.

Timothy Allen Sanches, 38, was arrested on suspicion of delivery of a controlled substance, delivery of cocaine, delivery of methamphetamine, two counts possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. No bond had been set as of Wednesday night.
