Police are searching for a suspect who reportedly punched a police officer before evading in his vehicle.
The officer pulled over the suspect April 14 in the 2900 block of East Highway 80, an Odessa Police Department news release stated. He reportedly was combative with the officer and punched him before driving off.
Officers later recovered the vehicle but investigation revealed it didn’t belong to the suspect, the release detailed. Photos of the suspect can be found at odessapd.com or on OPD’s Facebook page.
