The Odessa Police Department would like to express condolences to the Dallas Police Department and family of the Dallas PD officer who was ambushed and killed last night while sitting in a marked patrol unit. Two other officers were shot by the same suspect.
The second officer is in critical condition and the third officer is expected to be OK, a news release said. The flags in front of OPD will be lowered to half-staff and OPD officers will wear mourning bands over their badges in remembrance of the Fallen Dallas PD Officer.
