The Odessa Police Department is accepting applications for its 26th session of the Odessa Police Department Citizen’s Police Academy.
The academy is set to begin Aug. 1 and will be held on Thursday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. for 16 weeks, an OPD press release detailed.
There are no fees for the classes and the first 40 applications will be accepted for this session, the release stated. Registration deadline is at 5 p.m. July 26 or until the session has been filled.
Registration forms are available on the OPD or online at odessapd.com. Forms may be submitted in person at the OPD or emailed to [email protected]. Forms can also be mailed to OPD, Attn: Guadalupe Shearer, 205 North Grant Ave., Odessa, TX, 79761.
