Via Odessa Police Department:
On 6-19-19 at approximately 1635 hours, Odessa Police responded to 1100 East 42nd Street in reference to a medical call. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the 27-year-old complainant and her 3-year-old daughter, who was conscious and breathing. The complainant reported that her daughter had been playing at the Sherwood Park playground with another girl. The complainant reported that the other girl’s parents gave her daughter an oral syringe, which contained an orange substance. The complainant reported that the other girl’s parents immediately grabbed their daughter and began walking towards the skate park.
The complainant then drove her daughter to 1100 East 42nd Street and waited for police and medics. The complainant’s daughter was then transported to Medical Center Hospital by a private vehicle. The complainant described the 1st suspect as a thin white male in his 30’s, approximately 6’ & 170 pounds, wearing a white shirt, green shorts, a hat and sunglasses. The 2nd suspects is described as a heavy set white female in her 30’s, approximately 5’5” & 170 pounds, wearing a yellow shirt, blue jeans, a hat and sunglasses. This incident is currently being investigated by the OPD Criminal Investigation Division.
