Odessa College will host the 14th Annual Odessa College Honors Luncheon, celebrating those have made a difference in education in our community, at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Odessa Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.
The public is invited and tickets for the event are available for purchase here.
The following individuals and organizations will be honored for their impact in education:
- Dr. Rohith Saravanan – Community Impact.
- Lisa Wyman – Outstanding Individual.
- Julie Marshall – Outstanding Educator.
- La Margarita – Outstanding Business.
- Medical Center Hospital – Outstanding Nonprofit.
- The Wood Family and Virginia Chisum – Hall of Fame Inductees.
Renowned education advocate Geoffrey Canada, founder of the Harlem Children’s Zone, who became nationally recognized for his pioneering work helping children and families in Harlem and as a passionate advocate for education reform, will be the featured speaker at the luncheon.
