At approximately 1:28 a.m. July 27, Midland Police responded to a motorcycle incident in the 11120 block of State Highway 191.
Midland Police reported that a 2003 Harley Davidson was traveling east on SH 191 when it left the roadway “for an unknown reason.” MPD found the operator of the Harley Davidson – 56-year-old Ronald Lee Rice Jr. of Gardendale – laying near the motorcycle in the center median of SH 191, a news release said.
Rice was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to MPD. The investigation is ongoing.
