The Odessa Police Department is investigating a Sunday afternoon crash that took the life of a 23-year-old man.
According to a news release, Elijah Barrera was traveling west on East University Boulevard on a 2021 Honda CBR600 motorcycle and when he reached the intersection of Adams Avenue, he struck a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado being driven north on Adams Avenue by a 56-year-old man.
Barrera was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is underway to determine the contributing factors to the crash.
