A 31-year-old Midland man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Reeves County early Sunday morning.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Jonathan Robert Ornelas was traveling north on U.S. 285 in a Dodge Ram 3500 when he struck an unknown vehicle traveling east on County Road 437 in the intersection.
Ornelas, who was traveling alone, was found deceased in his truck, but the driver of the other vehicle fled in an unknown direction, according to DPS.
