A 65-year-old Midland man died Sunday, two days after being struck by a car while walking in Midland County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Arturo Meza was crossing from east to west in the intersection of FM 715 and CR 120 when he failed to yield the right of way to a 19-year-old man from Conroe, who was driving a Toyota Corolla north on FM 715.
Meza was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital in critical condition following the crash, which happened around 7:30 p.m. He was later transferred to Lubbock Covenant Hospital and he died Sunday.
