A Midland woman was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in Midland.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 61-year-old Midland man was driving a Ford F-150 when he failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign at FM 307 and CR 1110 around 8:30 p.m. and was struck by a Nissan Sentra being driven by Sylvia Pulido Clavel, 43, of Midland.
Clavel, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her passenger, an 83-year-old Midland woman who was wearing a seat belt, escaped injury, according to DPS.
The driver of the Ford, who was also wearing a seat belt, also escaped injury.
