The Carlsbad Mayor’s Energy Summit will take place from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Walter Gerrells Performing Arts & Exhibition Center, 4012 National Parks Highway, Carlsbad, N.M.
Speakers include: Tony Dorsett, former Dallas Cowboy and Denver Bronco; Kent Hance, former chancellor of Texas Tech University; Clay Gaspar, chief operating officer of Devon Energy; Vicki Hollub, CEO of Occidental Petroleum; Secretary James Kenney, New Mexico Environment Department; Eileen McGrath-Conner, general manager, health safety and environment, Chevron Mid-Continent Business Unit; Eric Ormond, senior vice president at Crestwood; and Josh Viets, vice president of the Delaware Basin, ConocoPhillips.
