A 39-year-old Ector County man was arrested last week after a woman accused him of threatening to stab her.
According to an Ector County Sheriff’s Office report, deputies received a report of a man with a knife in the 2600 block of Gemini on Thursday.
When they arrived, a woman told them she heard a disturbance and when she came outside, she saw David Lee Bishop was “displaying” an open pocket knife toward a 46-year-old man and he then threatened to stab her with it, the report stated.
Deputies found a knife in Bishop’s possession and arrested him on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a controlled substance.
He remained in custody Wednesday on surety bonds totaling $65,000.
