Odessan Buzz Hurt has died. Odessa Chamber CEO/President Renee Earls called him an iconic symbol of West Texas.
”He was the epitome of the tough as a boot rancher who loved and appreciated his heritage and this community. He and the entire family have poured into Odessa and have given back far more than they received. Please keep Betsy, his son Joe, his daughters, their spouses, his grandkids and all family members in your prayers. He will absolutely be missed,” Earls said via email.
