The West Texas Food Bank is bringing back the Kids Farmers Market, sponsored by H-E-B.
The event is free and is open to children of all ages to come learn about fresh fruits and veggies.
The event will take place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. June 5 at the West Texas Food Bank Odessa Facility at 411 S. Pagewood Ave.
While supplies last, you’ll be able to fill your Farmers Market bag with fresh produce for free, thanks to H-E-B, a news release said.
Cooking with Kimberly will have exotic fruit and vegetables to sample and nutrition information handouts and recipes to give out.
Gardener Patti will be talking about planting, in particular fall gardens.
They will also be joined by the Master Gardeners, Master Naturalists, Nancy Donovan will be on hand with her worm exhibit, and Debbie Roland will have her beautiful rooster.
