MIDLAND Permian Basin Adult Literacy Center (PBALC) announced their annual Readathon fundraiser on Monday. Running from July through September 30, this event is a fantastic opportunity to support their Adult Literacy Program while helping their students enhance their reading skills.
Dedicated PBALC students have pledged to read at least ten books by the end of September, creating a lasting legacy of literacy and learning. Sponsors will be paired with a participating student and will receive updates on their student’s progress throughout the Readathon. Sponsors are welcome to support multiple students if they choose.
By sponsoring a student, you’ll help PBALC bridge their funding gap, ensuring that their students can continue to improve their lives through literacy.
