H-E-B will celebrate the holiday season in Midland by distributing more than 9,000 holiday meals as part of its annual H-E-B Feast of Sharing celebration.
In partnership with West Texas Food Bank, H-E-B Partners (employees) along with community volunteers will pass out holiday meals, bags of fruits, vegetables and other food items, and toys and other festive goodies to fellow Texans in Midland. Media is invited to the meal distribution, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Midland County Horseshoe Pavilion, 2514 Arena Trail, Midland.
An annual tradition, this year’s H-E-B Feast of Sharing will not include the traditional in-person dinner events and volunteer opportunities. Instead, H-E-B will donate more than 340,000 meals to support hunger relief efforts in Texas and Mexico this holiday season. In Texas, H-E-B will make monetary and food donations to 18 Texas food banks and more than 45 hunger relief agencies.
