Heart Gallery of West Texas visits Houston, Hill Country

Heart Gallery of West Texas, a program of One Accord for Kids, brings the smiles and stories of West Texas children and youth in the foster system to West Texans through portrait exhibits and television outlets that all point to an online gallery where visitors can make an inquiry on a specific child.

Because 60% of West Texas kids in foster care are placed outside of our 30 county region One Accord for Kids has to go to great lengths to capture photos and videos of these kids. June 12 through June 13, One Accord will be on a road trip to Baytown, Houston, and Bandera to meet up with six of these youths.

In addition to capturing photographs and interviews, One Accord will be taking them on a summer experience filled with fun and adventure.

June 12th — Baytown: King, age 11, will be joining One Accord for Kids’ Associate Director, Matt Waller on a fishing trip with Bow To Stern Fishing Tours.

King’s Heart Gallery of West Texas Profile can be found at oneaccordtx.org/project/king.

June 13th — Houston: Siblings Devon, 13, Alizea, 12, Davian, 8, and Julian, 7, will be joining Matt Waller at the for a much anticipated sibling visit. One Accord for Kids, has collaborated with Houston Heart Gallery to make this event possible.
