Grand Companions has scheduled pet adoption events this week in Midland and Odessa.
On Thursday, Oct. 3, Grand Companions will be hosting Hike with a Homeless Pet from 9 to 10 a.m. at Sibley Nature Center, 1307 E Wadley Ave., Midland. Enjoy a walk through Sibley’s beautiful nature trails, while giving adoptable dogs an opportunity to stretch their legs. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet people, explore nature, and help a homeless pet.
From 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5, Grand Companions will be at Christ Church Anglican, 5501 N Midkiff Rd., Midland, for the Festival of St. Francis. Come bring the whole family for a day of fun and giving back to our community! Highlights include the Blessing of Pets and People, face painting, pony rides, a petting zoo, an Art Show, live music, delicious food, and shopping. Come out for an afternoon filled with excitement, fellowship, and community spirit!
Grand Companions will be at Alldredge Gardens, 3300 N Fairgrounds Rd., Midland, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5. Come visit some adoptable pets at this month’s Market at the Gardens! Alldredge has welcomed over 25 vendors, including Grand Companions, representing small business owners in the Permian Basin into their breezeway for a day full of shopping, food, fun and friends.
On Sunday, Oct. 6, Grand Companions will host an adoption event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Petco, 6209 E Highway 191 Frontage Rd., in Odessa. Add a furry friend to your family, or just come out to pet some cute pups!
