The Ector County Republican Women are hosting a candidate forum during their regular meeting Wednesday featuring both local and state candidates.
Candidates will be available for a meet and greet at 11 a.m., lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and the forum will begin at noon Wednesday at the Odessa Country Club, a news release said. Lunch is $15 per person. Local candidates participating in the forum will include:
>> County Judge candidates Debi Hays and Chris Fostel.
>> County Commissioner Pct. 2 candidates Greg Simmons and Brandon Tate.
>> County Commissioner Pct. 4 candidates Arlo Chavira and Russell Wright.
The state candidates will include Stefano D’Stefano and Bruce Jacobson Jr., who are running against U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, and Judge Michelle Slaughter, incumbent candidate for Court of Appeals Place 8.
“ECRW meetings are open to interested Republicans men, women and students,” the release said.
